Sat 2 July & Wed 6 July
Contact, Manchester
From endless cups of tea in a crisis to knowing how to evade a polar bear attack, there are as many ways to get through life as there are people living it. Populated by a screwball collection of characters The Life and Death of Eggs Collective takes a sideways glance at life’s tough questions and tackles endless debates of one- versus- many, hope-versus- apocalypse and cat-versus-dog.
A raucous cabaret of live music, comedy, spoken word dance, The Life and Death of Eggs Collective is by Contact’s all-female partner company Eggs Collective. Mixing the mundane and the dramatic, the serious and the silly, The Life and Death of Eggs Collective is about life, death and all that’s in between.
Warning: may contain puns, ridiculous costumes and death scenes of a melodramatic nature
Devised and performed by Helen Ashbrook, Sara Cocker, DawN Crandell, Dora DaCruz, Lowri Evans, Leonie Higgins, Lydia Hirst, Roshana Rubin-Mayhew and Sophie Willan.
Directed by Rachel Brogan. Produced by Roxanne Moores.
Funded by Arts Council England and Contact.
